Luke Lotardo is an artist and composer in Bushwick. His paintings begin with found objects built to be sentimental, old thrift-store landscapes and needlepoint copies of famous paintings, and interrupt them with hard blocks of flat color that both censor the source and complete it. He also writes and produces music.
