Gail Robin Mitchell is a painter, although photography, drawing and sculpture have been an integral part of her art practice for over 30 years. She has lived in Brooklyn since 1992 after graduating Cooper Union. Travel has always figured prominently, and it is a large source of her ever growing found object collections. For nearly 30 years she has also been a painting conservator.
