June 4, 2015-July 5, 2015, All DayHosted by IDIO Gallery at IDIO Gallery
“Circumstantial Evidence” pairs the work of Bushwick artists John Crowe and Oliver Jones
in a multimedia exhibition that explores the structure of memory. The artists reconfigure the
basic elements of existing narratives – placing emphasis on the friction between what is real and
imagined – until the elements arrive at their own new forms.
Flavorpill, IDIO Gallery, and Arts in Bushwick invited independent curators to submit exhibition proposals for a month-long show during Bushwick Open Studios. All proposals were reviewed individually by a panel of local judges and evaluated based on “conceptual rigor”, “curatorial execution”, “aesthetic success”, “feasibility”, “timeliness”, and “overall impact level”. This winning exhibition is curated by artist and curator Jack Henry.
