I am interested in accumulations—of objects, of images, of people. Suspended between desire and nostalgia, my work is part inventory and part archive. By refusing access to their present, photographs force our thoughts into the future or the past. “Streets Paved in Gold” is a series of images and objects that engage with the gentrification of Brooklyn via found building materials, construction discards, and human bodies.
