I give form to my experience of hearing music and other ethereal events, my practice has been durational since my first NYC solo show at Esso in 1997

I began my career as a DJ at a Minneapolis Punk Venue in 1979 and I’ve had my work exhibited in 8 solo and numerous group exhibitions around the world including “Curious Crystals….” at MoMA /PS1 in 2004, Sculpture Center NYC and MUSEUM BOYMANS-VAN BEUNINGEN, Rotterdam and I’ve had 7 NYC solo shows with Derek Eller, 11 Rivington, Sunday, Esso and Printed Matter.
I’ve photographed scent and sound and drawn spirals, made flowers and dripped plaster into stalactites for the duration of songs by David Bowie, Dusty Springfield, Pet Shop Boys, Sex Pistols  and others.

When I was 8 years old I told my blue collar parents in Minneapolis that I was going to move to NYC and be an artist when I grow up, my life is a dream come true…
