Bushwick Open Studios is Sept 22-24!

Arts in Bushwick is an all-volunteer, non-hierarchical organization – we have a completely open structure, where anyone in the community who is willing to volunteer their time is welcome to join and take on a leadership role. It is the mission of Arts in Bushwick to provide a platform for creative minds in the community and work towards an integrated and sustainable neighborhood through arts programming, creative accessibility, and community organizing.

If you are an artist or collective, gallery, non-profit or local small business that would like to participate and list your event for BOS 2017, become a member today!

Members of Arts in Bushwick can add local arts events to the calendar for BOS and all year around. If you have any questions regarding membership, check our FAQ page.

Our 2017 Open Calls are accepting applications

Our two main annual events are Community Day and Bushwick Open Studios, but we are expanding our programming to provide visibility to our rapidly growing artistic communities. We have recently launched a community-wide open call to allow us to create an opportunity to bridge the gaps that exist in our neighborhood through the arts. This open call is also extended to venues that would like to offer their spaces for our community events.
