As some of you may have heard, Arts in Bushwick is involved with a fabulous new project through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas. It’s called Place & Displaced: Mapping Cultural Vitality for Civic Participation.

Not only will we be collecting information for a cultural map of Bushwick, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint — more on that later — but we are also inviting you (yes, you!) to a series of events that’s happening in conjunction with the project.

The first of these events, ROOM FOR CREATIVITY, is Thursday, March 27th, from 6-9 PM. It’s taking place at Greenbelt (361 Manhattan Ave. ),and will be hosted by Chez Bushwick’s Jonah Bokaer. There will be a panel discussion, film screenings, drinks and snacks, all for FREE!
