The Schoolhouse has been a home to artists since the mid 90′s.
We live and work together in the persuit of pure art and a deeper understanding of the world in and around us, these efforts are alive and for all to experience via Photography, Video, Print making, Textiles, Mobiles, Painting, Poetry, Drawing, Jewlery, Music, Tea, Conversation, Pancakes.
Augustin Doublet will be screening his new short film “Adam” all weekend.
The Freedom Press will be running at full steam on the first floor with Mr. Elliot Kurtz at the helm.
Check out the black and white film photography of Gaspar Dietrich on the second floor in addition to Chris Chludenski’s mobiles and Justin Orvis Steimer’s paintings.
Mariette Papic will be serving her own blends of tea and would love to talk with you about your dreams.
The music of David Powers will resonate through the building, inspiring all those who hear it.
Saturday afternoon around 1pm we will be visited by The Parade of Art, which begins at Spread Art, stops at the Schoolhouse then continues on to Animamus Art Salon at Starr Street Studios. Look for our very own Willy Muse to be roller skating along with them.
