Bushwick Open Studios 2012

Hey folks! Just so you know you can edit your online listing until the actual weekend of BOS! (June 1-3) You can also still register but you will only be listed in our online directory. The deadline for the print program has passed but if you would like to be listed on our website go ahead and register! REGISTER NOW!!

Happy BOS2012: June 1-3, 2012 — it’s our 6th birthday!

We’re creating an open and inclusive event that benefits the neighborhood by sharing artistic projects and encouraging community interaction and dialogue. BOS brings the neighborhood’s thousands of artists and performers out into the streets and in view of each other, other community residents, and the general public – we hope to see you here!

Want to participate in BOS2012?

Registration for BOS2012 is now open! The deadline to register for inclusion in the print program will be April 27th.  Everything you need to know about festival registration is here.

All BOS2012 registrants are required to come to one meeting or mixer event prior to registering for the festival.  Plus, coming to a mixer or meeting is a great way to meet other participants and volunteers, and to get involved!  Look here or on the right side of this page for information on upcoming meetings.

If you are looking for a space to show or perform during BOS2012, or if you have space or opportunities for collaboration to offer, check out our Seeking page to make a connection.

Any other questions?  Feel free to email us at openstudios@artsinbushwick.org.

Join the BOS2012 All-Stars!

Arts in Bushwick is an all-volunteer organization, and we need you!  This year, one of our top priorities is to engage a large number of Festival participants as volunteers and organizers. We have seen an outstanding level of support for Bushwick Open Studios, and have a wonderful team in place, but there are still many integral roles to fill.  This is where you can play a major part of making BOS happen by becoming a BOS2012 All-Star.

The All-Stars are a leadership team, committed to making the festival a success through organizing their neighbors and assisting with festival operations. All-Stars will receive special recognition in the festival program & web directory in exchange for committing 10 or more volunteer hours to help organize and produce the festival.

To become an All-Star or get more info about general volunteering, check out our volunteer needs, come to a meeting or mixer, and join our Google Group to stay in the loop.  You can also email specific volunteer related questions to volunteer@artsinbushwick.org at any time.
