Jen Shepard is originally from East Texas and currently lives and works in Bushwick, Brooklyn. She received an MFA from The University of Texas at Tyler and also achieved an MS in digital design from Pratt Institute. Recent exhibitions include, “Here/Not Here,” a solo exhibition on Spotteart.com, “Goodbye Times Bitch” a solo exhibition in the Brooklyn Wayfarer’s project space, The Pratt Alumni Exhibition, and the Spring Benefit at Momenta Art in Brookyn, NY. Shepard has also taught art courses at both Pratt Institute and Borough of Manhattan Community College. She has curated exhibitions in conjunction with Pratt Institute and also independently at Loft 594 Gallery in Bushwick. Additionally, Shepard has been awarded residencies at both The School of Visual Arts and most recently at The Wassaic Project.
